Any woman that has participated in women’s football, whether on an amateur or professional level, deserves recognition for her participation as this makes the sport more recognizable in the general arena of sports. There are some women who have played the game to such a level that their skills and dedication to this game have gained them recognition as being one of the greats. Marta comes from Brazil as is considered by many to be the world’s greatest player based on her talents.
